Tracks
- 1 Wrecking Ball 00:04:34
- Wrecking Ball is the first original song we ever made, back in June of 2006, and is a favorite amongst most of the people who come to our live shows.
- 2 No Reply 00:04:38
- This is a song that our singer Ray wrote for his late cousin back in January of '07.
- 3 Op 00:05:52
- This song was our fourth original song, and it took a long time to create. Chris came up with the two-minute intro and brought it to the band, where Ray had trouble writing lyrics. About a month later, after we had almost given up on Op (Short for Operation: Sandwich), Ray wrote what he thought was an entirely different song. But, after a while he realized it's in the same key as Chris' intro. We threw the two together and decided we liked it.
- 4 Fallen Under 00:05:35
- This is the second song we finished, but the groove is about two years older than the band itself. Chris and Ray were in a band back in 2004 which most called How It Works, although we never actually settled on that name as a definite. Chris brought the progression to the band, and they almost finished it, but then broke up. Two years later, after Wrecking Ball was made, we finished up Fallen Under and played them both, along with a barrage of covers, at our first ever show on June 23rd, 2006.
- 5 Future Time 00:05:26
- This one's our softest, most latin jazzy song. We've only played it at one show for that same reason. It doesn't go over too well with the drunk people at our shows who wanna hear Freebird. Don't get it twisted, though. We love this song and are very proud of it.
- 6 More to Say 00:05:04
- This song, along with Wrecking Ball, is our most requested song. It's your basic 3 chord rock song, with a funky ass groove. We weren't trying to blow anyone's minds with our musical talent when we made this one. We were aiming more for just a catchy, groovin, rockin song that hopefully people can dance or sing to. It's a staple at most of our live shows.
- 7 Shine 00:05:49
- Ray wrote this song about falling in love with a girl at a very young age, breaking up, being with other people, getting back together, and realizing it's just not the same. The song's about wishing they'd met later, after they'd lived out their wild years.
Album Notes: We recorded this cd at Burndown Studios with Dave Quicks back in april of '07. It's our first official studio recording. We do, however, record almost all of our live shows, so we have more songs and versions of these songs available for you to hear.
