Melodeego is on a new mission! Our passion for the human race has driven us enthusiasticly into a relentless effort to help prevent global climate crisis. We believe this is a profoundly important issue that affects every living person in any walk of life. Scientists have concluded that mankind must dramatically reduce the amount of carbon emissions and other greenhouse gasses in the next 50 years in order to prevent worldwide disaster. We can make a difference by spreading knowledge and demanding national action! Melodeego resolves to use all of our skills as musicians and performers to add new spiritual and artistic potency to the movement toward a sustainable future!

Melodeego has spent over 4 years developing our show with the goal of being able to bring every audience we play for to life, and fill each room we perform in with as much positive energy as possible. Soul music has the kind of inspirational energy we, as leaders, need to stir up inside of people before we try to deliver our crucial message. A crowd sharing the same artistic experience can be the most empowering and uniting experience in the world when at the hands of artists capable of opening minds when they are shut, and lifting spirits when they are down.

For thousands of years, music and art have been used to help people understand what they should already know. It is no coincidence that the great movements in America have all had powerful soundtracks. It is nearly impossible to think about the Civil Rights movement and the Peace movement of the 60's and 70's without thinking about the music and the culture of the time. They were cultural revolutions as well as political revolutions, and touched everything in the country. Today, the urgency of the climate crisis, when coupled with the passion of the American people, can provoke the kind of change needed to preserve our way of life. We truly believe that if we can get a person's attention, make them feel the energy and emotion of the music, get them on their feet dancing, bring them right up to the stage with open minds and open ears and open hearts, we have just to show them the facts, and they will do the rest. The music will allow our message to really connect with an audience, and the energy of the performance will give listeners the enthusiasm and confidence to take action. Music and message must go hand and hand. A person needs to feel the energy from the stage and the energy from the audience, and recognize that it does not come from fossil fuels or electricity, but from within. The new revolution will be positive and powerful, and art and music will be essential to its success.
