I have been around in several bands but for the most part, I'm now solo. I write songs which are largely chunks of my life and my friends I've met along the way. I'm also a music engineering tech,.. which means I also work with other people putting their kit together and also providing PA for their gigs. I enjoy jams with just about anybody, the more different they are from me the better! I guess I don't have a genre or style as such because I like to try odd directions as often as possible which gets confusing for those who would like to fit me in a particular slot! I'm now also involved as a promoter for an internet radio station which means I get to mix with even more diverse musical people from all over the world. I really don't follow the herd and enter competitions or go for being 'the best' as I think music should be on almighty jam sesion, bringing everyone together rather than splitting them up!
