During her career, Debbie Southwood Smith has worked at EMI, A&M and Interscope, and signed acts like Uncle Tupelo, Blessed Union of Souls, Monster Magnet, Queens of the Stone Age and many more. She tells Unsigned Artists about her amazing journey from being a college radio DJ at Emerson College in Boston to becoming a VP of A&R at Interscope Records in this interview.
