Baige Obannon & Mr. Malachi started making music together in 97' in Malachis bedroom in New Hampshire using a pair of technique 1200's, mixer, sm-58, tape deck and various instrumentals from 12" singles. Many of their days were spent chilling in Carpenter field or on Roxbury St., drinking, smoking and freestyling.

They realized they had true talent when people started feeding off their flow at house parties and college parties. At an early age and with little help or resources they began carving a spot in the scene for themselves even earning themselves the underground title "Pirates of the Party Scene", a result of always leaving with more than they came with. After that they made a few appearances on college radio, some more parties, but the two were headed in separate directions.

In 2002 shortly after both got off probation, Malachi moved to LA and linked up with friend and artist LykWyz while Baige moved to Orlando to attend school for Audio Engineering. Staying in touch always they never lost their fire and passion to make music together. Whether over the phone or the internet sending each other tracks to collaborate on or both, they continued to build the foundation of what is now DogBody. In Orlando, Baige hooked up with producer Dmatic from Cincinnati a phenomenal up and coming beat-maker.

In 2004 Malachi moved back east to Portland, ME for a change of scenery and only a year later, in 2005 Baige moved to Worcester, MA to link up with friends Jmoves and Dru Jesus who had been recording at the Armory Studios. Once in Worcester around a studio, Baige managed to hustle himself a job as an engineer at the studio (a job that allowed him the freedom to work on his music in during down time). Baige began working at the recording studio and met up with producer Germz. It didn't take long for Malachi to move to Worcester where they rented a house and started putting in work with producer Germz. In 2006 Producer Dmatic moved to Worcester and was the final piece of the puzzle.

Dogbody recently started booking shows in NH, MA, VT, and NY. Dogbody is working on wrapping up there freshman album which will be released sometime before the summer of 08' and they will be dropping a mixtape winter of 07'. Dogbody also has songs featured on Germz' release "Thingz 2 Say" coming out on Supernova Records which will be in stores October 31, 2007. Dogbody has collaborated with the likes of Boston artists such as Slaine, J Saun, Larry Cheeba, Minus and more.
