Ductape Productions started back in 2002 when Ivan moved from Denver to Bellingham and Esther was getting her degree at a local college. Both met at the Home Depot and shared a joy for different genres of music. At the time Ivan was involved in a rock band, but he found that the chemistry and ideas that flowed for Ductape Productions was magic. Esther was really happy to find a friend and fellow musician who was also open-minded and skilled in structuring different sounds together. The name Ductape Productions comes from piecing different styles of sound and holding it down with eye-opening lyrics and interesting drum patterns.
