That's all I remember about the directions to ADs apartment in Allston where I took the T every Sunday afternoon to meet AD, and sometimes Koon, at ADs apartment.

Whiskey, soda, cigarettes and rock and roll were the only necessary ingredients to a successful Sunday jam session. Somehow the motto seemed to evolve among us: The less you think, the more you play.

Gupta, a phenomenal Jazz guitarists--and real son of a bitch--contributed largely to the cultivation of my Blues technique. It was then that I realized that blues wasn't so much a style as it was a way of life. And, from the rhythm of blues of it all, evolved the rock and roll we created.

The melody to "Get Down and Roll" and eventual lyrics stemmed from from our music making endeavors for months to come; although, the months flew by and the endeavors often failed, I will never forget what it was like to "Get Down and Roll."
