I can safely say that it was the opening chords to "Go!" that startled my creative revolution.

From an artistic perspective, "Go!" seemed to captivate the melody of my persona: a combination of stark rhythm built upon the foundation of a simple message:

Cast your shadows to the sand, you got an ocean reaching for your hands.

I had just moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the thrill of being back home in the American Southwest managed to reveal itself in a sudden episode of earnest songwriting.

"Here I am, where am I going?" I seemed to ask myself over and over during the first few months of my tenure here.

All I knew was that I had fallen in love with the geographic expression of the last frontier which closely embraced my upbringing some 260 miles back in El Paso, Texas. Here memories would be made and stories would be told, as I constantly reminded myself through my artistic endeavors: "Come on, let's go."
