In 2003, Jim and Andy found the desire to form a punk hardcore band, after talking about doing so for some time. With influences from Bane, The Hope Conspiracy, Converge and Piecemeal, the two started writing music for the band that would soon become The Turn. After writing a few songs, they decided to start forming the rest of the band with the missing members needed. They then called upon their good friends Fitzy and Chris to play bass and guitar. Now, with the group almost completely formed, a singer was needed to front the band. After pondering over who would make the best front man for this music, they finally asked Nick if he would be interested. He agreed and the band was complete.

In 2004, it was time for Fitzy to go to Providence and begin college, thus, leaving the band short of a bass player. Soon after, the infamous "Jayswan" joined the band and the void was filled. Shows were played and good times were had. However, the fact that Jim was in another band (THE AUBURN SYSTEM) occasionally interfered with certain potential shows. Within the past year, Tim has replaced Jim on drums, bringing The Turn to where it is today.

Now, with a lineup that is meshing better than they could ever hoped, the band has written and recorded a collection of songs that will no doubt "rock your socks off". Keep your eyes and ears open for everything The Turn has in store for you in the future...
